I have twenty four years experience teaching math and English. All my lessons are bespoke, where I identify individual's needs and tailor lessons to meet these. I have a relaxed style where I understand that maths and English does not always come easy to everyone. I like to teach in a way that makes it easy for students to understand so that they do not feel under any pressure.
All my reviews on other tutor sites are five star. I am committed to providing a positive learning experience, helping learners to achieve their personal goals. Everyone has their own strengths and it's a matter of bringing these to the fore and embracing the little 'wins.'
Together we can set out an achievable program where we use small steps in a timely manner to conquer all the goals that we wish for ourselves. One-to-one tutoring is proven to be successful in bringing out confidence and making us feel far more comfortable in the subject. We may have been put off by a bad learning experience but we can put that all behind us and move in a positive direction. I am happy to let the student lead the learning experience and gain knowledge in a way that is best suited to them. With the student in the driving seat they are learning at their own pace and ironing out any misconceptions that they may have been holding on to. Lessons can be online or in person.
