I first started tutoring with family members and colleagues when I was in grade school. By the time I was a student in the 1st year in faculty, I was asked by my colleague members from a student association to train other students on how to learn. Many training experiences later on several topics, participations and awards in national contests, more than 1000 live trainees and more than 1.5 million views on the content I published on dozens of publications, it is obvious that the purpose of tutoring is not about data transfer, it is about 1) supporting the student to develop and train their own skills 2)carefully selecting from my toolbox the most strategic and useful insight to share without overwhelming the student with useless data and 3) carefully listening for the needs of the student so that I would be able to do 1) and 2)
This is why I prefer having a tailored, unique approach with each one-on-one student I work with, in determining not what others told them they need to learn, but what and how is it most useful, easy and efficient for them to learn, completely personalized.
I can teach or train in various topics, based on your interest, but most importantly, I want you to be aware of why do you choose to learn that, where do you intend to get by learning that and what's the best path for you to get there.
Call me Marcus, this is my professional name, different from the previous, legal name, Stefan.
