I love interacting with kids, patience and dedication is the key for the young learners. Before I start the class it is important to have warm up or spice things up to awaken their senses. I will teach first the basic, and eventually some vocabulary. I love using flashcards and simple real life props for example things inside the classroom for new vocabulary presentations and the use of that vocabulary. I will give the students time to catch up to their grade level and what’s going on in their classrooms at the same time. For assignments and and instructional resources build targeted skills and standards mastery assignments to ensure students receive just-in-time instruction and enrichment. Lesson plan is so important to me to give me a map and sequencing in teaching. In instructional methods I am in student-centered instruction. Student centered instructions includes any methods where the students play more of an active and engaged role in their own learning. I’m flexible to all possible methods and strategies in teaching to help students learn and develop knowledge and skills. In order to be effective, a teacher must be a subject matter expert. Being subject matter expert includes knowledge about organizing ideas, connections among ideas, ways of thinking, the ability to carry ideas from one discipline to another. I that the teacher must believe that he or she can make a difference in the student’s lives. At the end of the lesson another warm-up to freshen up the mind of the students after a lesson.
