I have over 10 years of experience of teaching school kids from India. My focus on grammar and the concept of comprehension through every exercise, clubbed with my attention to nuance and detail, makes my format of teaching unique. I always encourage and facilitate the student to reach answers and solutions themselves, instead of solving things for them, even if that means spending more time on certain topics. I am skilled and competent at constructing need-based learning materials and test series that challenge students to focus on the basic rules, nuanced understanding of concepts, and the broader learning agenda, at the same time. I canvas my lessons with firm and clear learning goals, while staying respectful of the pace and leaning style of the student. I have the ability to tailor my lessons to learning needs and have especially proven my ability to help students with low leaning abilities to out do themselves and excel by truly enhancing their knowledge of concepts and not merely practicing rote learning. In fact my very approach to focus on "Understanding" and not "Memorizing" or "Learning" is what has helped me make exceptional progress in terms of the learning outcomes of my students. I try to use content and exercises from multiple sources, offline and online, to broaden the horizon of learning of students. My teaching methods have helped students to improve their knowledge of not only English but also other subjects since the approach can be easily applied to other subjects as well.
