About me

I am a calm and patient tutor that seeks to enable all tutees to make progress through understanding of the content and as well as help to increase retention through the use of CPA (concrete, pictorial and abstract) representations. I am a calm and patient tutor that seeks to enable all tutees to make progress through understanding of the content and as well as help to increase retention through the use of CPA (concrete, pictorial and abstract) representations. I am a qualified UK teacher with a clear enhanced DBS. In my previous role I was a Senior Lecturer at University helping to teach trainee teachers with their understanding of primary mathematics and computing.

I have had success also in tutoring pupils through 11+, 13+, Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning as well as creative writing. Pupils have been successfully placed in St Paul's Girls, Magdalen College School and King Edward VI School (Southampton).

I can provide both face-2-face and online tutoring sessions.

I am also a registered tutor for PowerTutors, Atom Online and Tutor Doctor (Southampton and Winchester).
