I prefer a hands-on, interactive method of teaching. My lessons will involve the use of worked examples of increasing difficulty to allow you to build up your own confidence with the subject at hand. There will also be lots of questions for you to try, as I believe the best way to improve with maths is to keep trying and trying! The speed of the lessons depends entirely on you, and you will not be rushed if you feel you need more time with something, nor will it progress slowly if you feel confident.

I use a mixture of PowerPoint presentations for key principles and interactive work on a whiteboard to consolidate new content for you and make you feel confident and prepared to improve and progress. I prefer to introduce a topic and its key points first, but very quickly move on to applying its principles using worked examples.

I have years of experience as a tutor for KS3 and GCSE students as a sixth-form student, and am confident in my skills at A-level to offer support at that level. I attained a Grade 9 in GCSE and an A* in A-level Mathematics from Queen Elizabeth's School, one of the top-rated schools in the UK. I have recent experience of both syllabuses and understand the areas with which students most often struggle or need an extra push.
