I cater to the students need, every student is capable of learning as the brain is very malleable at this age. The deficit is usually in the way the information is presented so I take a very open minded approach and get to know my students. I assess their knowledge with questions, and evaluate whether they understand what’s been asked based on their answers. I figure out why they got to their answers in the first place and assist in where there is a deficit. I constantly evaluate my students progress by recapping older lessons and varying my plenary questions to link other lessons to this. I can do this because I struggled as a student and came out with good grades as I self taught a lot. I also am a supply teacher so can adapt well to any lesson content. I have worked in challenging SEND environments where iv dedicated myself to discovering why a student could be unfocused and assist in that region. I am also currently becoming a physician associate and teaching is fundamental to this as we are constantly teaching our patients in layman terms what might be going on with them, their diagnosis and treatment. I wish to build on my communication in every way possible and tutoring has always been a means to do that as I get to know a variety of students and a variety of needs. I am pushed by my motivation in teaching the future generation, especially after the effects of COVID.
