I am currently studying Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at sixth form after achieving 9 grade 9’s in my GCSE’s, with 3 of them being in Biology Chemistry and Physics (triple science). I would consider myself quite passionate about education, and so after completing my GCSE’s, I decided to privately tutor Y11 students in order to assist them through their mock preparation, and this has given me experience to work with GCSE students, allowing me to work on my teaching style and techniques. Although I will plan my lessons beforehand, I strongly believe that the students themselves understand what they require help or assistance in, and so my lessons will be greatly revolved around my students and their individual requirements. In my lessons, I will prioritise going through detailed content for the subject I will be teaching, as well as referencing the specification of the chosen exam board. I will also be going through exam practice and past papers in order to consolidate the content learned. The aim of this will be to help the student gain confidence with answering exam questions, helping to prepare them for their mock exams and their GCSE’s. I am also very flexible and can accommodate to the time that any potential students would like.
