I have tutored maths and English for around 5 years and through this experience I discovered my passion for teaching. Whilst this opportunity was fantastic, I have been inspired to gain some more independence and freedom through private tutoring. I am excited to run self-guided sessions, with the use of my own content. Going into my masters year at the University of York, and as someone who loves academia, I can’t wait to continue inspiring young people in teaching their academic goals!

I passionately studied English in school and continued with the subject at A-levels. Because of this, my main focus will be primary school and secondary school learning. My sessions will target reading, comprehension, general grammar, creative writing skills, coursework as well as homework support. I am open to allowing my students to request a topic they’re struggling with, whilst also planning sessions to fit with their school curriculum.

I will be tutoring online via Zoom and I’m flexible to accommodate the busy schedules of students. Please feel free to ask any questions!
