My presentation is flexible and I can cater it to the needs of the student, whether that be a more fun and engaging session, or a more focussed and challenging session based on what it required. I am quite upbeat and friendly so will keep lessons lighthearted whilst teaching content through examples and then feedback to practice questions, and aided help where needed. I will also give home learning so that the students can independently use their knowledge, and then I will feedback what went well and what can be improved, whilst going over and boosting any weaker areas. I will carry out lessons online and email any content needed, and share my screen where necessary to show content. I have found that by getting the student to try and do the questions alongside me, rather than simply teaching the method, it keeps students engaged and also increases the chances of the methodology staying within their memory, and I know this from past teaching history and my own learning strategies. This also aids in boosting the students confidence in tackling the exam questions independently, which is the end goal I will also share my own revision strategies and regular check up on progress to ensure an increase in academic performance, and provide feedback to parents where necessary through either a phone call or written report, to allow parents and guardians to also be involved in their child's learning journey. I can also split the time within sessions in order to tackle multiple subjects within one, depending on the length of the session, as this will not only keep the student engaged but also ensure that subjects are touched upon regularly to avoid forgetting content.
