Dr Maje Haruna is an accomplished scientist with expertise in Nanotechnology and Energy Engineering. He holds a first-class bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bayero University Kano, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, and a PhD in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the same prestigious institution. He also holds a national diploma in Science Laboratory Technology from Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure. Born on the 9th of March in 1989, Dr. Haruna's educational journey began in his early years, attending Auyo Special Primary School and Science Secondary School Lautai Gumel for his primary and secondary education, respectively. Dr Maje's commitment to personal development is evident through his numerous professional development courses from esteemed institutions such as the University of Oxford, UK, the Project Management Institute, USA, the International Business Management Institute in Berlin, Germany, and the Chartered Institute of Environmental and Health, UK, among others. He is also a member of internationally recognized scientific organizations, including the Institute of Chemical Engineers, Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society, Australasian Colloid and Interface Science, Society of Petroleum Engineers, Energy Institute, and Chemical Society of Nigeria. Dr Maje has held various academic and industrial positions spanning nine years. He currently works as a Research and Development Scientist at Pyroguard UK Ltd, the world's leading independent provider of fire safety glass. He has worked as a Research Fellow with the University of Leeds under the European Research Council consolidated grants and as a graduate teaching assistant in the same institution, overseeing the progress of numerous MSc and PhD research projects. In addition, Dr Maje has been a dedicated lecturer at Federal University Dutse and a visiting scientist at Beihang University in Beijing, China. Furthermore, he has served as an industrial consultant for Cairn Oil & Gas Vertical Vedanta Limited in India.
