About me

Honestly, the only way you learn is if you’re engaged in a lesson. I aim to make my lessons fun, enjoyable and created in a way to help you understand in your own way.

One thing I’ve learned is the saying that ‘everyone learns the same way’ is false. Completely false. However, for me, it is important to create targets that you can achieve and are proud of.

One thing I’ve learned is the saying that ‘everyone learns the same way’ is false. Completely false. However, for me, it is important to create targets that you can achieve and are proud of.

I use essay plans for higher level students, especially A level and GCSE. Essay plans prepare you for real exams and also help you recite information, which is a key part of revision.

For younger students, I find something they are interested in, for example football, and adapt the work around this. For example, my younger brother, who is football mad, used his passion for football and wrote his GCSE creative writing on him winning the World Cup, which he achieved a 7 in.

Everything I do with students are all revolved around them. They dictate the lessons around what they want to learn about, whilst I figure out their strengths and weaknesses. I strongly believe tutoring should be fun and enjoyable, rather than dictating and strict.

I study History and Sociology at Warwick University. I studied English, History and Geography for A Level, attaining 3 Bs. At GCSE, I received a 9 in History and English, 8 in Sociology, Dance, Science and PE, 7 in Maths, Geography and Business. I aim to help others achieve the grades they need in order to excel further in their education.
