I like to build my lessons around you I want it to be a safe place where u will build your resilience as well as knowledge. With your permission I often speak with your school teachers so I can understand what’s being taught to you at that point and get a better understanding of the curriculum format. We can then decide whether you would like more help with the current topic or work on the next topic before beginning the second option is often helpful when students are struggling with confidence as they are not faced with completely new subjects when in a class environment. If more helpful for you we can work on highlighted difficult areas ensuring that you fully understand the working behind it or work on exam preparation in the lead up to you exams. This all depends on what works for you and what point you are at in academia.

Along with the lessons I will also have knowledge checks to ensure that this mode of teaching you is working. But these aren’t exams so to speak they’re to show me what we may need to go back over.

I offer both 1 and 2 hour sessions or a mix of both which is helpful during those times when everything is seeming a bit more difficult than usual. I can offer last minute revision sessions as I have been through them many times myself and know how important they can be to getting you those grades that you want.
