I experimented with various methods of revising for my A level psychology exams and found that making detailed notes on content and practicing blurting these notes worked best for me. In order to help you grasp a strong understanding and memory of all of the content you need to know for your exams I will ask you which areas you are finding tough and go over these areas with you, sharing my A* level notes and then seeing if you can remember content covered previously. I also made detailed essay plans for all possible questions across the syllabus which I can share with you, show you how I structured and wrote my essays and offer you the opportunity to give these essays a go if you're feeling confident and eager to get some practice, before reading over them and telling you what I thought was brilliant and where you could maybe tweak your answers to score more marks. I loved creating visual revision resources so I will implement opportunities for colourful and creative revision if this is something you find beneficial. Although I had my ways of learning and revising that worked for me, I will adapt to your personal needs and styles of revising to help you make A level Psychology as manageable and fun (if i dare say so) as it can be! As a recent student who has just completed her A level in psychology this year, achieving an A* and never falling below an A in year 12 module tests and an A* in year 13 module tests, continuously achieving either 15 or 16 out of 16 on those problematic 16 markers, I am ready and raring to help you do the same, with the course still fresh in my head!
