I am a friendly and patient tutor who has worked with students of various ages from primary, GCSEs to A levels. Particularly specialising in English literature, I focus on helping students strengthen their knowledge of key concepts of the set literature texts as well as exam technique through a mixture of in depth content based activities and working through exam style questions with them to consolidate their knowledge. I often ask my students questions in order to improve their confidence with expressing their own ideas, having struggled with this myself as a student when I was younger as well as to encourage them to take an active role in their learning. I also regularly ask my students for feedback every few weeks so that I know exactly what my students like and dislike in order to benefit them as much as I can.
