Having gained valuable insight into the different ways that people learn, I tailor my approach to each student's individual learning needs by differentiating content and learning resources according to their ability. The first tutoring session will entail a conversation with the student about their targets and current knowledge of English language and/or literature. Based on the outcome, my approach will involve setting work at a relatively basic level, before gradually building up the student's knowledge, ability and confidence to meet their long-term targets.
