I have more than 15 years experience as a tutor in Psychology, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. My lessons are tailored to meet the needs of my students and due to the bespoke nature of the lesson, students all show marked improvement in their attainment after starting lessons with me.

I am a warm, friendly and affable person who seeks to make students feel at ease from the onset. My vast teaching experience allows me to quickly establish a rapport with my student to encourage them to express their areas of concern. I can be flexible in my approach, creating an atmosphere conducive to learning.

A typical lesson with me starts with an outline of what will be covered in that time if already agreed or it could be a topic that is new to the student and this student is finding challenging in class. This is where I believe that my flexibility is an asset. During the lesson, concepts are explained. Examples are worked through together and then the student has an opportunity to demonstrate understanding by working through an exam type question. Additional examples may be given to reinforce the work covered by the student which typically will be done prior to the next scheduled lesson.
