I believe in the huge benefits of speaking another language (am having a go at Spanish myself) and there are no age limits in my view. Everybody learns differently and there are ways of helping students to remember words and rules without hours of tedious repeats. A language opens up a new world and learning it should include looking at the culture and history of the country that language is spoken in. Whether there is such a thing as a national character which helped develop a national language or whether the language shapes the national character is a chicken/egg question.
Come with me on a fun journey looking at how other people live, speak and think. Widen your horizon while improving your opportunities for a better job and maybe a more varied group of friends from different countries.
Prepare for studies, work or travel and who knows what new doors will open for you.
