Hi guys Maeve Monaghan here, I'm a dedicated Special needs educator, some of the resources l would use power point presentation for part of the lesson plan. I go at the students own pace, and l like to make it a bit of fun. I believe in inclusion and encouragement because education has always been the pillar in personal and societal growth.

I currently work as a Special needs assistant this past 20 years in a post primary school in Ireland. I'm registered with the Teaching Council Ireland and l work with students with Autism, ADHD, DYSLEXIA etc. Numeracy Litercy and social Communations are my strong subjects. I am passionate about developing social skills and fostering independence.

Also l have a BA in Social Studies and a BA in Youth and Family Studies. I gained my first BA in 2008 actually online learning with the Open Training College Dublin. The other BA l did in Sligo here in St. Angela’s.
