Depending on how your child learns, I will cater to that. I try different formats for lessons, such as conversational, game based learning, lecture dynamic lessons. I appreciate that many children find learning difficult, or see it more so as a task, but I want to bring joy to learning. I have completed an A level in psychology, this has taught me useful skills and information around how to teach children, I have an in depth knowledge of child psychology and development around teaching and schooling. This gives me a great insight into how to formulate lessons accordingly. I will provide a range of materials for students, such as print offs of memorable quotes for certain books for GCSE students or younger. I also hand make materials that I will give to students to help them revise from. Such as flash cards, mind maps, spelling tests, definition sheets and much more. I am also always open to help in any way possible, for example if a student feels they need something other than the material listed, I will always try and go above and create more useful content and materials for them. Overall, I love English as a subject and am confident I can help your child in any way possible they need with their learning and education. I come from a home with many younger siblings at many different levels at schooling and have tutored them myself through the years and understanding how to cater differently to each child is something I am easily adaptable with.
