I volunteered in the United Kingdom as a tutor of GCSE AQA English for a student who cannot attend school due to illness. Moreover, briefly worked as a tutor of English and French in my home country. My approach to structuring a lesson is to primarily get to know the student and try to establish a contact, find out their level of knowledge. Then set a clear objective for the lesson. I also find it very important to include a variety of learning material in the lessons. For example, using visuals, working on assignments and homework, various learning activities such as reading, writing, watching videos, presentations and games that help memorize the vocabulary. As well as the evaluation of the material covered. I try my best to make the lessons as interactive and interesting as possible. My goal is to make a student interested in engaging into the learning process.
