In my lessons, I focus on making complex science concepts clear, engaging, and easy to understand. My approach is interactive, ensuring that every student is actively involved in their learning. I break down topics step-by-step, building understanding gradually, and encourage students to ask questions throughout the session. To check understanding, I ask regular verbal questions and give students the opportunity to explain concepts in their own words.
Each lesson typically includes a mix of direct instruction, interactive discussions, and exam-style questions to practice applying knowledge. We go over these questions together, identifying areas that need improvement and clarifying any misconceptions. This way, students not only learn the content but also build the skills to excel in exams.
I have over five years of tutoring experience and a qualified science teacher background, having taught KS3 and GCSE students in physics, chemistry, and biology. My experience includes tutoring students at a tuition centre, where I helped students from various backgrounds improve their grades, and teaching full-time as a science teacher.
Lessons are tailored to the student's needs, whether they're looking to master specific topics, prepare for exams, or simply build confidence in science. Each session is designed to be engaging, focused, and flexible. I provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as I believe that’s how real learning happens. Ultimately, I aim to make science enjoyable, accessible, and achievable for everyone!
