As previously mentioned my lessons will be online. Each session will be tailored to topics from the GCSE exam board. I will give presentations and point theories which relate to real life examples. This connection to concept will make it easier for students to understand their learning. Note taking on student progress will be essential for me as I will continuously be checking on previously learning. Throughout the lessons I would like active participation with the Q&A’s, activities, but not an issue if some may not prefer this interaction. With the subject I have chosen to teach I would believe students should critically evaluate concepts in sociology which I will be adding to my lessons to take it to the next level. In addition, this aims for the higher marks in the exams.
Speaking of exams, I will be adding in exam questions related to the topic being discussed. I’ll be going through the marking system and how to structure the answers of these questions. Incorporating this into the lessons will essentially mean the students will be fuelled up for these particular exam style questions and achieve the best results they can.
