I cater my teaching techniques to each student by honing in on the exact type of help they need, with issues such as syntax, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and writing. Throughout my years of learning languages, I found the best approach is seeing each element in a given written or oral situation so that the student can best envisage how to use a new and unfamiliar structure. Rather than learning lists off by heart, it is much more useful to see and use them in practice, which was proved successful in my time as a teacher on my year abroad. Length of a typical lesson would be 1 hour, aiming at students from the ages of 15 to 18. I have just graduated from University as a Modern Languages student and am really passionate about inciting enthusiasm and fascination for languages. As I have left school and ventured out on travels around the world, I have seen how useful it is to communicate in a foreign language, even if at a basic level. As your French and Spanish tutor, I will guarantee that your grammatical foundations are strong as I have found this proved most useful during my studies and facilitates an easier learning process once you understand the essential base upon which a language is built.
