I’ve recently completed a levels in rs, history and English and received A*AA grades. Throughout my school career, being taught by a competent, previous Oxford professor for English, I believe I’ve learnt and developed the skills to understand what is needed to succeed in the field. I have previously taught children privately up to year 7 including my own family members so have some experience in the field. The cheat code to a superb English student is self motivation and the ability to analyse and evaluate concepts in depth and ultimately use this to forward your own argument. I would use a multitude of revision techniques in my lessons, all dependent on the level of education in which I’m teaching. But helping students understand the basics are my first steps.
