My lessons are fun and interactive, focussing on the knowledge needed to pass the exams.
Having recently achieved an A* in A-level Maths and now studying Mechanical Engineering, I understand the work ethic needed to achieve the grades necessary, and the knowledge that comes with this.
I have recently tutored GCSE students, helping them achieve their desired grades for their exams. This was a mixture of in-person and online sessions where the students came to me with questions and concepts they struggled to understand in their school lessons and I helped them through this by sectioning each concept and building basic knowledge to allow them to succeed. This was part of my schools tutoring programme where we also assisted in well-being and extracurricular activities.
My lessons would be online over video call to allow the student to ask as many questions as possible. At the start I will assess the students needs and then cover sections they are struggling with basic steps, examples and practice questions. I would then later allow the student to bring forward any past paper questions or homeworks they don't understand, and tutor them through this.
Being a university student means my lessons are fun and engaging as I understand how students can dislike the subject. I have a wide variety of interests outside academics, with being part of multiple sports teams and music ensembles. This means I can connect with almost any student, making them feel at home.
