As someone who used to struggle with Chemistry GCSE myself. I know exactly how frustrating it is to not be able to get to grips with the subject despite the amount of effort you put in.

Considering how many students struggle and avoid studying chemistry due to its “impossible” stereotype. I truly believe there should be more tutors available to provide support to students who need that extra helping hand.

That’s why I am offering GCSE chemistry tutoring to students who may not know how to structure their revision for this subject, and need extra help in understanding some of the challenging concepts found within the specification….


By specialising my tutoring towards the individual and their learning style! I will focus on how to answer specific exam style questions from past GCSE papers to familiarise the student with typically asked questions in the exam. By using my previous GCSE revision recourses I will share information which helped me boost my grade from a 3 to an 8 within 9 months.Furthermore, I will be encouraging the use and using the official specification from the exam board of your school to remove the nonsense you don’t need to know, (To make the students life a lot easier). As well as looking at the specific learning style suited to the individual. For example, Active recall methods, and mind mapping techniques. Depending on whether the individual has a visual learning style or a theoretical learning style. In which they will carry forward with them into their future studies. Most importantly, We will go at the pace the student feels most comfortable with, from definitions of elements and compounds to the complexities of electrolysis. You’re in control!

Lastly but most importantly….We will make it fun!! I have experienced many tedious and underwhelming lessons throughout my school experience and can understand how a boring lesson can easily put a student off of a subject. Therefore i ensure to engage and satisfy the students i teach as much as i tutor. To ensure full satisfaction with my sessions! I will guide you into viewing chemistry from another perspective.
