I have 6 years of experience tutoring. I’ve always been very academic and enjoyed teaching others. I’m very patient and able to solidify topics as-well as work on particular difficulties a child may have with ease. Im very keen on using all available resources as every person is different has their own unique style to learn e.g a visual learner etc. I’ve adopted many fun and exciting ways to create a serious but knowledgable atmosphere that leaves every child feeling confident to ask questions. Furthermore, I do like to examine my tutees quite often to see where they’re at and how we can move forward. I am in touch with all curriculums and have every textbook that I have used very frequently and therefore memorised. My lessons consists of making sure I overlay each topic to the grain and then after I allow for loads and loads of questions which I will explain in depth to make sure that child has understood the topic and then move on to loads of exercises. This ensures precision and no child I teach is left confused and a lesson is therefore wasted. i opt to always make children and their parents feel enthusiastic about each lesson coming up rather than it being “typical school” for them. My lessons will always consist of laughter within a serious dynamic and I often build a great attachment to teaching each of my students which allows me to focus on them individually. I also will always update the parents on the good and the bad after every lesson to ensure everything is being done when I am not teaching.
