I am an 20 year old tutor who is looking to tutor part-time while studying English Literature at university and during the holidays. I have experience in offering free online English tutoring (English Literature and English Language GCSE) through Asterise Tutoring and have been working for the past two years in a paid position at MagiKats Tutoring, tutoring primary school Mathematics and English. I help encourage students with positive verbal and written feedback. I have also tutored online for six months with Red Robin Learning. I have worked with students with Special Educational Needs (specifically Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD), people learning English as a second language, and students undertaking the 11+.

I have worked with a range of resources, having utilised Microsoft Word before to track a student's progress and their academic difficulties. Additionally, I have efficiently utilised Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation as a learning resource and shared my screen to deliver a "lesson" involving useful tips and feedback-based learning. I believe in catering to every child's unique needs and adapt my tutoring to their specific learning style. If something does not work, I am more than willing to change this and adapt.

My tutoring timetable is relatively flexible, however I cannot work on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings as this is when I go to my tutoring job. I obtained a 9 (A*) in my English Literature GCSE, an 8 (A*) in my English Language GCSE and an A in my English Literature A Level, therefore I obtain the sufficient qualifications to help you or your child with your learning. I am on track to get a First in my degree when I graduate from Lancaster University (a UK top fifteen university) in 2026. I an organised and would use the first session to gage a student's academic abilities, and subsequently plan sessions based on what they struggled with and what they excelled in. I can assure you that my tutoring is up to a high standard and that I have both the qualifications and experience to enable me to do this.
