I am a friendly, committed and dedicated person who has a strong passion for teaching.

I am an experienced secondary history teacher; and head of dept. teaching KS3 and GCSE history in mainstream setting.

My GCSE results have been around 80% 4+ and 66% 7+ for the past few years.


I specialize in Pearson Edexcel GCSE exam board; I have been an examiner for them and have received an “exceeds expectations” ranking for 5 consecutive years.

. I am specialized on the following modules: Weimar and Nazi Germany; Early Elizabethan England; Crime and Punishment and Super Power relations.
However, I am confident to tutor all Edexcel history modules.

As well as private tutoring, I also, provide bespoke lesson plans tailored to each student, including SEN requirements. This is because I believe that every student is different and unique, and the best teaching approach is to 'learn' the student and then cater to them. As well as planning ahead I also have great intuition, and can easily think 'on my feet' to adapt my teaching style if needed.


I also help many students with their confidence.

I am flexible in my approach and can work around you and your family's needs.


I charge £75 an hour due to my high level of expertise.
