I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Maths, currently teaching at Trinity Academy Bradford. I have experience teaching KS3 through to GCSE, across all major exam boards. I have experience of tutoring students from KS2 to GCSE. My sessions are planned to match the ability of the student infront of me and are built to help students take steps in building self confidence.

I have evidence of students making excellent progress in my classroom and tutoring, whether rhat be groups or 1 to 1. I do this through my modelling of examples and breaking down learning to show clear steps and make learning easy to understand. I give students time to practice the skills as "practice makes permanent" and learning is embedded in long term memory through fluency and practicing the mathematics skill. Learning will be differentiate to meet the needs of each individual.

I have distinctly different learning schemes for students in KS2 and KS3, however they are very adaptable so higher attaining students can jump to KS3 knowledge if they are ahead. For the lower attaining student they can be moved back to help them fill knowledge gaps and build confidence in their Maths ability.

I have a self made and improved method of true progress to help students achieve the grade they want at GCSE. It has helped foundation student secure grade 4/5 and has helped higher students achieve the grade that they want.
