My tutoring sessions begin with defining clear learning objectives which serve as a road map ensuring you have a clear of understanding of what will be achieved during the lesson. From there a customised approach will be employed to match your learning preferences, drawing on visual aids, real examples and tools I have used through my years of study that will enhance your comprehension. I hugely encourage questions whenever appropriate, it highlights clearly where confusion arises so I am able to address fundamental issues thoroughly. I like to provide continuous assessment and feedback throughout my tracking in order to assess your understanding and progress through regular assessments/quizzes and track your progress over time. I must also disclose this goal oriented approach requires an introductory period in which I will learn more about you and what methods best enhance your learning, so we won’t be jumping in at the deep end.
