Music is a wonderful gift we can give ourselves and also share with others. My main aim in teaching is to make it as accesible to as many different people in possible.

In my years running a guitar shop in Cirencester I taught many students privately while serving the community as a hub of knowledge and learning. In recent years I have moved to teaching in primary schools and I am amazed at what just a but of expoure to the musical world can do for young minds in particular. I've seen it improve focus and confidence and can even relate to other, more academic subjects such as vocabulary, history and especially maths.

With me you will be learning what you want to learn at a pace that is comfortable. Everyones journey will be different, however I have a framework and literature that wil alway be available for free for those who need it. Music is supposed to fun and inspirational and its my job to share that fun, not all will stick with an instrument forever but i believe the skill is for lifetime and absolutely invaluable.
