With over 6 years of tutoring experience, I've had the privilege of mentoring students at various academic levels from GCSEs to A-levels to undergraduate degrees. These experiences have covered all aspects of chemistry including organic synthesis, inorganic trends, theoretical topics, and physical chemistry.

During my doctoral degree, I taught and mentored over 300 chemistry and biochemistry undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students through both online classes using digital resources and in-person tutorials. I also held the lead demonstrator role, including the design, planning, and management of course material.

With years of experience performing practical chemistry and providing demonstrations, I can also provide tips, tricks, and context for performing standard practical chemical procedures, particularly useful for degree-level studies. During my undergraduate degree and A-levels, I provided 1 to 1 mentoring sessions and acted as a peer mentor providing teaching support for A-level and GCSE Chemistry.

My approach to tutoring is to provide a supportive and engaging environment where you will feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will tailor individual sessions to your unique learning style and the goals you want to achieve, ensuring that you not only understand the material but also develop the crucial critical thinking skills perfect for solving any Chemistry problem. I believe the best progress is made through a collaborative teaching environment where skills are demonstrated and solidified through problem-based learning.

Please reach out if you're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic tutor in chemistry, I am happy to discuss tutoring options and how I can help you with your studies.
