Luke Allen Haughton

Film is a subject that is so often reliant on the audience's own experiences and response to the text and I will work with the student to help them better understand the responses they feel from different films and to evaluate what the filmmaker does in order to create those responses.

I work on a variety of independent film & TV projects, following getting an A grade in A Level Film Studies. Therefore I have experience in film both academically and practically and have a huge passion for the subject. My most recent film credit is my work as production manager on the feature-length TV pilot, Henry House, working alongside Peter Purves, Annette Badland and Mark Benton. The role of Production Manager means I am required to have a strong understanding of all elements of film production and ensure that al runs as smoothly as possible,

My academic studies of film have also hugely benefitted me as a host and guest on several podcasts that analyse films in a "minute-by-minute" detail, with focus on auteur theory, context, mise-en-scene and much more.
