To help a students gain complete knowledge I would go through the topic as a whole. Then go over any questions they may have to fill in the gaps in there knowledge. We would complete quizzes, exam questions and fill in the gaps to reinforce there knowledge so they do not forget but they could also apply it to exams. However I believe it is important to add an element of fun so we would play games relevant to the subject and to fill in there knowledge. Once they have gained a basic knowledge I would give them extra tips and tricks in order for them to receive top grades. I have limited experience in tutoring however I have helped student write personal statements and applications to become prefects. I also have helped some boys prepare for there GCSE math. I have also helped with completion of English homework.However my A levels are English, history and psychology so they are my area of expertise. I would be more than happy to provide A level psychology tutoring and English tutoring up to any age. I have worked in care previously so I believe I have the patience and care to help get students to the position they need to be. I have a selection of ready made flashcards and resources that would be available for them to use. These include A level psychology and AQA a level industrialisation and cold war. I could also help younger students with things such as grammar and spelling.
