Lessons are able to be adapted, accommodating to personal needs, like areas of weakness for example, and methods of learning style. A lot of students learn well from completing past papers. Particularly when it comes to understanding maths. Even if past papers are not used, there will be lessons on understanding the theory behind the problem, and then applying this understanding to practise questions. In addition, I can happily help to improve note taking skills, which is a transferable skill for college and sixth form too.

Whatever the exam board, the style of question and level of difficulty can vary. I am able to teach any level, foundation or higher. And if higher is wanted then I am competent to teach to a grade 9 understanding. The number of sessions and length of sessions are available to be tailored to each individual, and happy to adjust as needed too (with time frame considered). I can offer two session a week, and I am open to negotiate if desperately required, but three will be the most I can make myself available for.

Lessons will all be on an after school basis, between 17:30 and 20:00. However, Wednesdays are unfortunately unavailable as I will already be indisposed with personal plans.

All the terms of my tutoring are available to discuss, however this is a basis.

If before you sign up for lessons with me, you would like to talk to me personally please feel free to reach out. I understand that despite someone’s academic skills, personality matching is also very important for the success of a student. I am a very friendly a patient person.

I have also been a swimming teacher previously, so I have experience in teaching. This has taught me many lessons and life skills. One of the most crucial especially with working with young minds is patience.
