Hello!

I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years dedicated experience teaching children, young people and adults online and in diverse, multi-cultural inner city schools.

I am creative in my approach to teaching and learning opportunities to capture students’ attention and enthusiasm for learning English. Lessons are personalised to meet the needs of each individual student and to ensure it is appropriately challenging. I encourage active participation, enquiry and discovery, and provide opportunities for individualised learning tasks. I am a caring, observant and sensitive teacher and use these qualities to provide accurate observations to inform future learning opportunities for my students, to enable us to work towards your personal goals and to develop self-confidence and mental well-being. I recognise valuable learning opportunities extend beyond the online classroom and am keen to use real life materials and resources reflective of the local environment in my lessons. I am familiar with a range virtual learning environments to teach live, create and share documents, and communicate with students. I use a headset, webcam and visualiser to optomise learning.
