I believe I have the drive and enthusiasm as a teacher to make studies fun and to foster discovery of self-potential because of my subject knowledge, experience and wide background. My teaching philosophy includes: communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and inclusion. My teaching styles is authority and facilitator. The authority aspect is based on my years of experience as a lecturer and also the in-depth knowledge I have of the subject sociology. I have the responsibility to impart knowledge to my students and encourage them to listen, absorb the content and use it ways suitable to meet their academic needs. The facilitator aspect of my teaching is based on my acknowledgment that no two student learn the same way. This implies that I have the responsibility to ensure all students are cater for and guide them how to use the information I impart based on their academic needs. I am also flexible with my teaching style because one come across different type of student.
I have the ability to work well with diverse range of persons. I am highly organised and create my lesson plans. Also, I have strong work ethics and ability to build strong professional relationship.
