I am a recent first class Economics graduate from Cardiff University, with an A level in Mathematics. I use interactive methods when tutoring, such as question practise and past paper practise, as I find this is the most beneficial in gaining understanding of mathematical concepts. I will go through any questions step by step, providing notes when necessary. My lessons aim to not only improve the maths ability of the student, but to make maths more fun. I hope to improve students confidence in the subject. When I was in sixth form I tutored maths to students in the secondary school, meeting weekly with students who found maths more difficult. This was very rewarding for me as a tutor and has allowed me to gain skills and confidence in teaching and tutoring. I have further experience in teaching as working as a qualified windsurfing instructor for the past 6 years.
