I like to use an approach that focuses on the students current abilities and areas for improvement. Creating a positive learning environment is very important to me. I would like to spend the first session talking about what they are currently working on, what they already know, and the areas for improvement. From there, we can collaboratively make sure the lessons are structured in a way that works for the student. If they structure isn’t quite working that’s okay you can always tell me!

I have experience working with students that speak English as a second language however no student is the same and may have unique needs. I take that into consideration when making a plan with the student to ensure the best quality of learning is taking place.
