I can adapt lessons depending on how students would like to be taught and will base them off of how and what they want to learn. Lessons may consist of working on practice questions, past papers, teaching new content, or re-teaching content to students in a manner that is understandable to them and in a way that they will retain and recall it easily.
As a private tutor, I haven’t had much experience. However, I have helped friends and relatives by teaching them content and explaining how to identify what is needed in the exam to work out answers. I have taught them methods they can use to remember certain key points which have helped them massively during exams, as a result leaving them with a grade they are happy with.
In the classroom at school, I have helped around in classrooms in science labs with students that have struggled understanding content by explaining the content in a way that’s easy to understand or by answering any questions they have regarding the topic.
