How do you learn most effectively? My lessons do not follow a set format because I work with you to discover what and how you would prefer to learn.

I always ensure that you know what the session will cover and I will help you to identify the learning outcomes that you are seeking - whether that is a general awareness of a particular subject, or you are working to a specific syllabus, I will ensure that sessions are bespoke to your needs.

If you need to study more outside our sessions together, I will support you with clearly defined tasks that you can complete on your own and help you to review them so that you gain confidence in your independent learning skills. I seek to engage learners with participation in activities and discussions - I can tell you and you may remember, if I involve you in the process, you are more likely to gain true understanding. I want you to feel that you have a deeper knowledge than simple fact recollection - ultimately you will feel that you could now share your knowledge and skills with others.

I have experience in a wide range of educational settings. I can deliver organisational training, from soft skills to special knowledge areas, cultural awareness for equality, diversity and inclusion, and service models for the onboarding of new volunteers and staff.

As a cover supervisor I have delivered lessons in line with exam board syllabus expectations, and I am always happy to revisit a subject area to ensure that I am supporting you to meet any assessment criteria.

In my creative engagement work, I have facilitated sessions for young people and adults, and I am confident delivering large group sessions online and in person.

As a trainer and workshop facilitator, I offer succinct delivery of essential information interspersed with participatory activities to embed learning and ensure confidence in new knowledge and skills.

I have experience in various specialist provisions for students with additional needs related to special educational needs or social, emotional and mental health needs, and including students who are unable to access or, have been excluded from, mainstream schools.
