I have helped fellow classmates to develop their understanding and boost their confidence in both GCSE and A-level history. I have experience with doing AQA and Edexcel exams, however I will be able to also help out with any other exam board as the skills are transferable and there is a lot of crossover. I am compassionate and empathetic towards those who may need a helping hand as I myself have been in similar situations. When it comes down to what I can help the best with, I would probably say essays, essay planning, ensuring students are hitting all the key criteria for their answers, understanding and deciphering questions, keeping track of dates, timeliness and making sure that the most relevant information sticks. I want to help students pass across a range of different grades and achievement targets. Whether that be getting a 4 in a GCSE to even a 9, or maybe a B or A* in A-level, I am here to support and encourage the student all the way. I will teach using methods best suited to the student's own strengths to help them achieve whatever grade they wish to recieve. I am also here for students during stressful times such as exams and that long anxious wait for results day. I would say I am well-suited to help students who are neurodiverse, being so myself, and/or may be struggling with personal and learning difficulties.
