Personal Profile:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy at Dundee University, I possess a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate the needs of others efficiently. I am outgoing, patient, and extremely reliability, I am committed to facilitating the most effective learning experiences.
Teaching Experience:
During my final year of school, I served as a Mathematics prefect, assisting students up to fourth year (National 5) level. Additionally, I volunteered at a local play area, providing support to vulnerable children. I have also engaged in one-on-one tutoring sessions for higher and National 5 mathematics. Maintaining a proactive approach, I stay up-to-date of the evolving curriculum in Scotland, ensuring that I remain well-prepared for any modifications.
Teaching Approach:
My tutoring methodology revolves around engagement, presenting challenges, and cultivating a learning environment that encourages tutees to proactively push themselves. By creating a sense of enjoyment in learning, progress becomes apparent very quickly. This approach, which has been instrumental in my own academic journey and achievements, aims to empower the next generation with confidence in their learning abilities. Having experienced the benefits of tutoring first hand, I recognize its value in providing additional support to tutees and can implement approaches that I found most effective in addition to addressing the unique preferences and requirements of each student.
