Lucila was my tutor for one semester and in essence, she was a huge help in advancing my knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language. She was always patient with me when I would draw a blank on a word or conjugation (which was often!) and would help me work my way through, ensuring that I comprehended what I was saying. The methods used to learn and practice the language were always engaging and never boring; we played a variety of games that focused on vocabulary and gramatical concepts, watched clips of Argentinian novelas to practice our comprehension skills, and talked amongst ourselves to practice conversing in Spanish with low stakes.
