I am a Portuguese tutor, I have worked online, in schools, and banks, and as a translator/interpreter for BBC, and TV Globo. I completed my bachelor's degree in Letras(Portuguese and English Language and Literature) at University Estadual de Londrina in Brazil (1994).
My method is simple but efficient, with lots of conversation, 100 words basic grammar to start, fun classes with music, films, culture, cooking and any other ways to help to learn Portuguese in a pleasant way.
One-to-one classes are offered for you to learn fast and efficiently.
I can work from home and I can offer flexible times for my students, open to any questions and if I cannot answer the right way I can email or chat later on. As a native Brazilian, I do have an accent and I have learned that no matter how long I have lived in the UK and USA, my Latina accent is still so present :) So you have to get used to it!
My hobbies are Zumba, meditation, travel around the world. I love to cook Brazilian to Japanese food.
In some of my lessons, you may learn how to cook Brazilian style as a way to help with your new skills too ;) And in another lesson, for example, you may learn how to Zumba lol Only joking...you don't have to really lol
