My lessons would be mainly based around guiding the student through their current academic framework e.g. helping them understand their homework assignments and going over anything they dont yet understand such as grammar and spelling. My specialties are reading, writing and especially speaking, I can therefore aid a lot in speaking which includes pronunciation, accent and meaning behind certain words and sentences that can further the students vocabulary. I am very familiar with the UK curriculum and style of teaching modern languages and can therefore relate to and understand the students struggles and queries when it comes to their academic work, which will prove highly useful for the sessions. I have been told throughout my tutoring career that I am a very patient and understanding tutor and that I am very easy to understand. As for my own academic history, I have always achieved the highest grades when it comes to my modern languages education, which I hope to continue in my students work. I am still learning more about Spanish everyday as I study it at The University of Leeds, alongside beginner French, meaning I am always on track with educational patterns of work which I hope to incorporate into my lessons.
