My lessons are different for everyone as they will be tailored to your specific learning goals and learning style, so if there is anything here that you don't think will work for you, or anything else that you'd like me to try, please just let me know as I'd like to work with you to create a learning environment that works for you.

I tend to start my lessons with a 5 minute warm-up activity. This could be some kind of game to generate vocabulary around a certain subject, or it could be a retrieval task to recall and reinforce things that we have learnt in previous lessons, but the aim is to engage your brain and to get you into the right headspace to start learning.

I will always have a mixture of tasks which focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening, ensuring that no skill gets left behind. I like to present grammar concepts in small and manageable chunks, as I know that grammar can be quite overwhelming, especially when there is a lot of it to focus on at once.

I tend to make use of worksheets and powerpoint presentations in my lessons, but there is no need for you to bring anything to the lesson other than your brain; I will always ensure that I have all of the necessary equipment and resources.

My teaching style is built from my 3 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language. I have taught a range of subjects as a class teacher in Thailand, I have experience as an online language tutor, and I have worked as a Teaching Assistant, specifically supporting multilingual students in UK primary and secondary schools. I have experience working with students of all nationalities, languages, ages and English levels, and I am always ready to adapt my lessons to your individual needs.
