Hello! I'm Lucía, a passionate Spanish teacher eager to share the richness of my language and culture. I hold a certification in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, awarded through a course accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, the highest authority in Spanish language education in Spain.
My teaching approach is primarily based on practice because I believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it actively in real-life contexts. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I always strive to create a dynamic, friendly, and motivating learning environment. I love making my lessons fun and engaging, using a variety of resources ranging from everyday conversations to interactive exercises, games, and activities that help students learn the language in a natural way and enjoy the process.
Although I haven’t taught Spanish independently yet, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in support and observation roles, which has allowed me to explore different teaching methods and learn from other professionals. Additionally, I have experience teaching English, which has helped me develop pedagogical skills that I also apply when teaching Spanish.
What I enjoy most about teaching is following my students' progress, seeing them gain confidence, and watching them communicate in Spanish. My goal is to make each student feel comfortable, motivated, and secure in their learning process, helping them achieve their language goals step by step. I’m excited to accompany you on this learning journey, we will have a great time for sure!
